For Tshepo Maphari Mothiba, clothes are never a frivolity; they always mean something. This 25-year-old founder of Mogaleadi Fashion Apparels shares her leading and winning journey.

Tshepho refused to stay at home or even having to wake up to find herself working for the next person and been ordered all day long, even after completing her Automative Engineering studies at Ekurhuleni College in 2015.
It all started with Tshepo always wanting to be different from how everyone else was looking, wearing or what was trending. Tshepo would make her own unique outfits out of her parent’s old belongings and clothes to start a freshly new looking piece to wear using a needle with her own two hands. It’s okay to be different.
“Life will throw all kinds of problem at your face just to test your stability and still left with yourself to pull together.
After working for years at 2 well known restaurants in Polokwane, Tshepo says that it came a moment where she realized she’s is actually worth more than all she had and quit in 2019. “I wanted to be my own person and employer, Even though after quitting, everything was so slow”. Tshepo says that she bought a mini sewing machine at Hifi Corp that She got at only R300 and were using pieces from clothes that her family were no longer interested in as she could not afford to buy new fabrics that time .Until someone realized her potential and gave out a machine that since she owned, has been making waves in the design fraternity with no fear.
“ The first step to acquire what you love or need is to believe in yourself n the universe will produce the same energy right back at u”

Tshepo is now one of the greatest self-taught fashion designers, working with her friend Pheladi Maupa to make sure their clients are always satisfied. Being a woman doesn’t come with limitations.
Clothes ain’t gonna change the world, the women who wear them will.
