He started making music at the age of 8 using a cellphone to record his vocals, as much as the quality was really bad at that time but the talent has always been there and he stays perfecting his skills.
JayDaBoy’s quality of music, delivery and rhyme skills stays improving on each song he drops and for a 16-year-old boy he has done a lot for his career and the future is just too bright.
Back in 2020 he released his first official single titled Drip on SoundCloud and the reception was overwhelming, the song did over 6 020 streams.
In 2021 the boy released his second official single titled Energy featuring Homie which peaked at number 49 on the Release Radar playlist throughout Spotify, most people loved the joint and it got over 5 424 streams.
The boy never stops working and he started killing the gigs and has already performed in Ga-Mashashane in Limpopo and around Gauteng, mostly Tembisa.
JayDaBoy has worked and shared the stage with dj's / artist's like KingSoul SA, Lamiez Holworthy, Mafurex, Homie, Lil Nizmo, Zer015, Romeo Que, Sxige, just to mention a few.
In the middle of the year (2021) he then released his first official Ep Black Envy which consist 5 songs, featuring Homie, Romeo Que, K-Blue, and Lil Nizmo
