The Cyril Ramaphosa Trust Bursaries

The Cyril Ramaphosa Trust (CRET), is awarding bursaries to applicants who may well be interested in pursuing their studies in any field of learning.

Requirements

• Candidates must be unemployed youth between the age of 16 and 27.

• Only undergraduates qualify for this bursary.

• Only at established South African institution (University, University of Technology OR TVET College) should the course be eligible for applicants to study.

• Candidates must be South Africans and produce a valid South African ID number.

• Candidates must apply to study at any accredited institution by 2023.

• Candidates should at least have good academic results.

• Candidates' households should not receive any income above R650 000 per annum.

Documents Required

• Candidates should bring a certified ID document.

• Candidates should have a copy of grade 11 recent results, and recent matric results, if only in matric this year (2022).

• Candidates should provide a matric certificate, only if matric is completed.

• Candidates should provide academic results, if only studying at tertiary level this year (2022).

• Candidates should have proof of tertiary application or letter of approval.

• Candidates should provide guardian’s identity documents.

• Candidates should provide proof of income of parents (guardian)

• Candidates should give full details of their residential address.

• Accommodation fee

• Book allowance and other study materials

• Meal allowance

• Stipend for basic costs/expenses

Terms and Conditions

• Candidates for skills development programmes will considerably be selected.

• The course in which candidates apply for, should not exceed 5 years.
