Lazarus shot and edited one of many hits like Baboon dance by Madenza, Peulwana & MrSix21 DJ Dance that has now hit doors of many radio stations and DSTV channels including channel O and MTV base, says that he is proud to be the youngest film-maker, content creator, graphic designer, film director and photographer that finally turned his passion into a profession in the whole of Limpopo or rather South Africa to have shot the likes of Mel African Legends, Paballo, Torry Dion, Dennis Letsoalo and a lot more.
One of Lazarus’ films, Lockdown went wrong, screened in British and United Kingdom has made it to the International Film Festival.
“Lockdown went wrong tells a story of a young man that goes for a run and later realised he’s not alone when he captures a selfie. A selfie that turns into something sinister”. Said Thema.
In 2019, Lazarus was funded by the NFTV to be a delegate in the Durban International Film Festival where he got to meet other inspiring international film-makers and network.
In July 2020 Thema announced that two of his films been Lockdown went wrong and Never look back has been nominated in Texas in the United States although he did not pull through.
Lockdown went wrong made it to:
- National Arts Festival 2020 in Eastern Cape.
- Lockdown Film Festival 2020 in United kingdom.
- Online Youth Film Festival 2020 in Gauteng.
This colt man is now waiting for other big nominations that with no doubt, he is taking them to his home town Makotopong.
Lazarus now holds two 015 nominations for Hustler of the Year and Influencer of the year. His production company, Talent Hunter Productions is also nominated to win Young Business Achiever 2020/2021. Lazarus says he sees himself with a lot more nominations in the coming years.
“Even though it is not about trophies but greatness,” says Lazarus.
