SAPS is Recruiting Entry Level Police Trainees

The South African Police Service (SAPS) is looking for candidates to enrol and pursue careers in policing for recruitment in the Basic Police Development Learning Programme (BPDLB). SAPS invites candidates who are between the ages of 18 and under 30 years of age to apply.

Salary:R4500

Minimum Requirements:

· Be a South African citizen

· Must be 18 years older and under the age of 30 as well.

· Be fluent preferably in two official languages particularly English.

· No criminal record

· No visible tattoo marks

· Must have a National Senior Certificate

· Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree or any other fields of study (minimum of 3 year National Diploma/Degree) recorded on the National Learner’s Database on the NQF Level 6 or higher.

· Be prepared to take an oath and serve the office.

· Complete and pass a medical examination.

· Complete and pass a physical fitness test.

· Undergo a psychological assessment.

· Be prepared to undergo training.

· Be prepared to serve and be trained anywhere in the Republic of South Africa.

· Fostering good relationships with the public.

· Providing advice on crime prevention.

· Ensure effective law enforcement.

· Bring justice to those who break the law.

· Protect, help and reassure the community.
