"Starting a business can be mentally and physically demanding" says Bridgette. However the hardships of being a business woman never stopped her from chasing her dreams.
Bridgette says that apart from her other running businesses, she is fully hands on from time to time. “ I honestly call myself a hustler, there is a lot that I do. I am a chef, a barista, food quality assurer and an occupational health and safety officer” she mentions. As she carries out duties in her day to day life, being the owner and founder of La-Bridge Wines is one of her proudest achievements. “It is my baby that I have dreamt of for over three years. It wasn’t always easy to get it out there, it took a lot of time and research, preparing for it to come out” says Tshepang. Right at the end, the idea materialized, and the rest was history. La-Bridge Wines currently sells fast like hotcakes, making it a fresh offering latest in the market.
After a brief spell doing modelling, she has won and own over 40 titles to date. “ They are all special titles. They made me who I am” she proudly said. Within a short space of time, Tshepang became the first ever reigning queen of Miss Spring Polokwane 2014/15. Adding more to her parade collection, the accolade (Miss Spring Polokwane) was another cherry on top, it marked the beginning of a sterling modelling career.
When Bridgette was asked about the sales of her exceedingly desirable innovated drink as a black woman in this business,
“The lack of faith in black-owned businesses remains a big challenge. This is because many customers think that international wine brands are superior. But, I’m glad that the concept of supporting black businesses is growing”. Said Bridgette.
