His DJying prowess has made him noticeable and amazingly paved his path to securing a strong fanbase and standing onto entertaining 800+ crowd since carrying the ‘DJ’ tag from as young as he was 11years with undoubted inspiration from his late Father popularly known as Mokopa, who was said to be a great dancer.
In 2021, DJ De Lose got signed with a young, influencial production company that he says it created a very safe space for him and allowed him to be the disk jockey he has always enrisioned to be – a hard working and winning DJ, also a DJ that expresses himself in a way that suits him, cease his heart and the best way he knows how through the company, Team Ambitiouz.
De Lose is staying full-time in Pretoria Soshanguve Block R. Most of his time is spent on improving his craft and he does pretty well as a Runner at Ambitiouz Planet TV, alongside TV veterans and his well-known group that started as a duo with DJ Soulful tone. With the time they groomed DJ Kimmiey Kay and today, DJ Malebo that is soon to be introduced to friends and fans. The group is dubbed *Soulful Keyz DJz*.
The vibrant music Giant has a fighting spirit and is super confident, therefore that does not allow him to quit whenever he feels he slacked nor worn down. “I love and I respect my work so much. I have crawled through hard-hitting reality to be where I am today”. He said. However, he’s still propelling.
The 21-year-old cue and play master tells us that after losing his Father, he struggled with a lot of things, however swore to never lose the sight of focus and stood up tall to make his Father proud in a way of healing and finding closure by carrying all the lessons from his Father as a responsible man, as the best DJ and also as a humanitarian.
His stagename, De Lose came about during his childhood. It was cut short from his identity name with few of his friends using it, then spread and when he started DJying, he says DJ De Lose just made a perfect sense.
“The future holds so much more brighter lamps to distribute in the entertainment industry. My superiors are working head-on to stall ‘De Lose’ brand and it’s growth despite the challenges that are glued to the industry”. Said the DJ. Furthermore says a lot has been achieved but a lot more best to come.
