Established in 2019, from freshly home garden chilies, rural-farmer Mpho Matlatle makes an exceedingly desirable sauce.
A blend of goodness with red chilies and garlic being the main ingredient for the sauce that today sells and well received by most communities in Polokwane.
When unemployment was rising in South Africa, that didn’t stop Mpho to pursue his entrepreneurial journey to start his own sauce business from the back of his home garden.
“Don't wait up for an opportunity, create it.”
Mpho says that they had chilies in their home garden and was hoping to find a way of preserving it. With his cousin, Thabo Madubanya responsible for processing the sauce, it was a bit rashly but Mpho’s detailed attention preferred something distinct. He felt it wouldn’t reach the preferred and targeted market in the country.
"It was rashly and quite essential, but I wanted something that can be used in everything, I tried the sauce and it made sense".
"Phobla's sauce' look was designed and branded by a media house, Bareng Media. By a legend who never misses an opportunity to help an upcoming entrepreneur " said Mpho.
"I cannot wait to introduce different flavours to it and pack it into bigger bottles for business purposes" Mpho said.

How to Buy Phobla’s Sauce?
The sauce is now available in 3 different flavours, which are mild, hot and sweet chillie.
Phobla’s sauce is selling for R50 per bottle.
You’ll get a free delivery if you’re living in Mashashane and the surrounding areas.
With assistance from veterans, Tshepo Koma and Joyce Mogale availing themselves to assist with distribution, the sauce managed to reach other different spaces and at least larger places in Ga-Mashashane & around Polokwane.
If you stay far from Polokwane, you could still order your sauce and get it delivered to your doorstep.
