What is Matena Sports Academy?
Matena Sports Academy is a Non-Profit Organization, a brainchild of a 19-year-old Pre-Matriculant, Phineus Sema from GaMashashane Monotwane who has his community's best interest at heart shown by his actions and hard work.
Matena Sports Academy is hosting a hot top 8 soccer tournament that is to take place on the 1st and 2nd May in Monotwane.
He explains how special the tournament is, with different and exciting activities and purposes. While one of the specialties and main activities honors women.
Whilst 8 of the Mashashane soccer teams are competing to take the tournament home, Matena Sports Academy team will also be focused on raising funds for the Polokwane Cancer Ward and Sanitary towels for young girls.
Why the Polokwane Cancer Ward?
Phineus, as young as he is, tells us he is a Cancer survivor. He, without a blink, saw it fit to organize a get-together that will bring change, raise awareness, restore perseverance and gain self-love in humans.
