How To Apply for NSFAS Online
First, the applications for the NSFAS funding of the 2021 academic year are now open.
Follow these easy steps to apply for NSFAS online in the comfort of your own space.
- Visit www.nsfas.org.za
- Click the myNSFAS tab at the top right of the screen
- Register your myNSFAS account
- Click the APPLY button and answer all the questions
- Scan and upload the required documents and submit your NSFAS online application

NSFAS will begin processing your bursary application.
And If you've missed anything, they'll let you know on the portal. So, you must frequently check your application status on the NSFAS website.
When your bursary application is approved, NSFAS will fund the following for you at the selected tertiary institution:
- Registration
- Tuition fees
And also provide you with allowances for food, accommodation/transport, study materials, and personal care.
