The CEO of Rehamo, Hector Mashila Mokaba(28) says that Rehamo bakery has restored hope in him when the deadly pandemic, covid-19 attacked in 2020, leaving thousands of South Africans jobless.
Hector says that he had to start somewhere, with what he already had, skills and passion. Hector has employed a total number of 03 people, also does offer baking lessons in store to those who would love to learn, for FREE!
Rehamo Bakery premises can also be used as an outdoor events venue. They've just hosted their 2nd Annual Mashashane Festival the previous year, 16 December under their events' management company The Kones, where local DJs,Masters of Ceremonies and artists emerged to showcase their talents.
Hector says that their vision is to be closer to their people's needs. "We simplify their lives by bringing their needs closer to them while they experience mouthwatering baked goods at all times." Hence the combination of the bakery and a mini bakery stone,with the hope to grow into franchises as that will in return create more business opportunities, also giving back to the community by creating jobs. "We're also planning to grow into a sit-in bakery store where one can sit for a coffee/muffin or a whatever baked date/ treat". He said.
Mashila also has hookers available for hire, he offers a good bar-tendering service for all kind of gatherings, been birthday celebrations, wedding, unveiling ceremonies, graduations etc, selling candies and currently working on their own chillie sauce made from fresh garden chillies.
