Get Your Fresh Daily Meat At Lala's

What excites me even more is seeing just how black women refuse to bask and working their sweats out to always shine and survive.

The stigma that used to be paired with being a female and not having to engage in certain activities, is slowly dying.

Here is a Lala Monyamane, born and bred in Maune, Ga-Mashashane. Lala sells organic, fresh, and tasty chickens in the area since the year, 2021 started.

Starting the poultry farm business, Lala says she didn't like the taste of the chickens sold around the area, though she didn't have an idea why was that, She then decided to do a little bit of her research on broiler chickens and the feeds suitable for them and she saw fit to give it a try.

That's when she fell completely in love with growing chickens and poultry farming. She bought day-old chicks and raised them herself.

"Believe in your inner self first and everything else shall unfold itself". said Lala.

"This idea worked wonders for me as there was nobody else selling chickens in my area and with the new stand we had in Maune, things became very much easier as I saw an exciting business opportunity".

Lala sells her live chickens at R80.00 and slaughtered at R85.00.

How to Order

  1. Call/Whatsapp: 071 599 6161;
  2. Order;
  3. Collect.

She says that she is also taking orders for big ceremonies and events, though she'll need at least a 5 weeks notice before the actual date.

"Dream it, wake up and do it".

Furthermore, she tells us that the unfortunate part she is currently faced with is that she doesn't make deliveries as she doesn't have much of a reliable transport yet for deliveries around Mashashane and surroundings so she can only deliver around Maune village.

Lala's poultry farm is at Stand number 2622 in Maune next to Hill fighters soccer ground.

Lala's future plans for her poultry farm business, including expanding the business to an even bigger center, making fresh chicken packs, raise chickens for those who would like to re-sell, and have indigenous chickens as well.

"My community and everyone around me has shown a lot of support towards my business for the past 5 months. That's some of the things that kept me going and encouraged me to want to do more for growth".
