Collen tells us that back in his primary and secondary days he was playing soccer but later realised that he is not a footballer but he's actually a runner. Exactly what Rugby needs one to be. That's when Collen had to relocate to be closer to the relevant facilities after school, so he gets the training suitable and be able to show how ardent and willing he is about been a professional rugby player. It's been 3years now.
Collen is a professional software engineer, a profession he acquired at Richfield in 2019 but chose rugby for a living instead. "I'm not a full-time rugby player by choice but because I cannot secure a job. Not that I'm complaining, I love playing rugby all day every day because of what it teaches me about my responsibilities." Collen said.
It is said that rugby is a game that features a combination of speed, strategy, and strength.
"Never lose focus, have the determination and the will to succeed for if you don’t come from a rich family because the rich family must come from you. The only difference between a rich person and a poor person is how they use their time". Saud Collen.
As he continues, he tells us that rugby is a sport he would always encourage youth to partake in because it is the sport that is all about discipline, taking leadership, learning teamwork, taking responsibilities,
Mostly, enjoying what u do.
