Ugly scenes as angered Chiefs supporters throw objects at coach Molefi Ntseki at Mbombela Stadium

Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki needed security aid to be escorted off the pitch after enraged supporters of the team threw objects at him, following a 1-0 loss away to TS Galaxy on Sunday evening.

Chiefs goalie Brandon Petersen’s own goal was enough to seal victory for the Rockets who moved up to third on the DStv Premiership standings.

Ntseki will be a worried man after his charges failed to win any league match with only just three games played. Amakhosi are now 13th on the league table since picking up a point in their opening DStv Premiership encounter against Chippa United. They take on Amazulu this coming Saturday at home.

In his post match interview on Supersport, the former Bafana Bafana coach Ntseki said:

“Very disappointed with the loss, but I can attribute it to a few things, we didn’t look as sharp as we were supposed to be, we were almost second in everything. Whether in attack not having numbers in the box, after losing possession not aggressive to apply counter-pressing, so I think on the physical side of it, we were not very sharp but I think we can always improve on that.”
